Do you have a story about a shady landlord?
NSW has a rental crisis, and young people are facing the brunt of it. Sky-high rents are being made even worse by the decreasing quality of landlords and properties, where some landlords are basically slumlords.
When tenants apply to rent a property, they’re asked to provide references. Landlords should have to do the same. We call on the NSW Government to introduce legislation that forces landlords to provide prospective tenants with references written by previous tenants, just as tenants have to do already.
