Young Labor President’s Report - March 2024
NSW Young Labor has had a fantastic start to 2024!
On 16 February we had our Bob Hawke Pub Crawl, and since then we’ve held our Housing Forum led by Minister Paul Scully, walked in the International Women's Day March, had our Women's Network welcome evening with Minister Courtney Houssos and Sally Sitou MP, and our Parliament Welcome Drinks with Premier Chris Minns and Deputy Premier Prue Car.
We've also launched the campaigns section of our website, building on the work we did at our conference last year and pushing the issues young people care about to the senior party.
This section of our website will give our members, and future members the ability to engage with the campaigns we're running, regardless of where they live.
Currently, you can find our campaigns on ending slumlords in NSW by introducing landlord references, addressing the housing crisis, 24-hour public transport, and drug law reform!
